Apostle Shirley Brown founded LHCGM in August 2000. The ministry began with Apostle Shirley, who had a deep passion for souls and an unwavering commitment to prayer. A wife, mother of four, and grandmother of three, she carried a vision that would stretch her faith to new heights. With a heart burning for the lost and a desire to impact lives for the Kingdom of God, she took a bold step of faith.

At the time, she had nothing but a prayerful heart, graduated from bible college, and believed that God would make a way for her. She found a building, walked around it by faith, and claimed it as a place where souls would be won for Christ. Despite having only one office chair and one faithful member, they began walking around that chair every Sunday, praying and declaring that God would provide what was needed—both for the ministry and the souls they believed God would send. And God did not disappoint.

In a powerful demonstration of His supernatural provision, the Lord opened doors that no man could close. The landlord, recognizing the faith of His servant, granted her the keys to the building. They started small, but their faith was mighty. They believed God would bring in more souls and provide for every need, and He did just that.

One miraculous day, an unexpected stranger—an angel in human form—walked into the building and sowed the very chairs needed to seat the growing congregation. And just as mysteriously as this angel had appeared, they were never seen again. That moment marked a turning point in the ministry. God had proven His faithfulness in providing the physical needs and the spiritual harvest that would follow.

From those humble beginnings, the ministry grew from a small group of faithful believers to a global outreach that now touches countless lives around the world. The core of our mission has always remained the same: to reach souls for Christ and see lives transformed. Prayer continues to be the foundation of everything we do, serving as the heartbeat of every department within the ministry.

Today, the ministry is a testament to God's power, provision, and unwavering love for all people. With a passion for souls and a commitment to prayer, we continue to move forward in faith, knowing that God will use us to impact nations and bring change to the lives of many.
